Passover Cocktails

For the past few days I’ve been really zeroing in on my Passover menu. I’m starting to get organized—making lists and thinking about what I can prepare ahead of time, what I’ll make the day of, which markets I’ll be shopping at, and what I need to pre-order.

But then, I pushed all my planning aside.

Something new and wonderful came into my life, and it’s a game changer.

Deciding whether to make lamb or brisket is now kind of ho-hum compared to thinking about serving up some exciting Passover cocktails with names such as Cinnamon Lady, Passover Spice, Dayenu, Red Sea and Samson’s Riddle.

Distillery No. 209 is the only distillery in the world to produce a gin and vodka that are both certified Kosher-for-Passover.

Since grain-based spirits are not Kosher-for-Passover, the folks at Distillery No. 209 have discovered Passover-approved herbs and spices and, under the supervision of the Orthodox Union, created a recipe using a sugarcane base spirit. Their Kosher-for-Passover Gin and Vodka has been so well received that many restaurateurs serve it to their customers year-round.

Thanks to Distillery No. 209 for sharing these yummy cocktail recipes!

Passover is about to get real fun.
