Here’s what’s on my radar in June…

My latest on Kveller, “The One and Only Way I Spoil My Kids“

Breads Bakery’s famous chocolate babka now shipping nationwide!

My new favorite blog is the The Kosher Spoon. I can’t wait to make these beautiful Syrian Meat Pies (Laham Bajine)

Excited for the fall release of the Zahav cookbook. In the meantime, check out Michael Solomonov’s terrific TED talk.

On my summer book list, “Do the Kind Thing.” Inspired by his father, who survived the Holocaust thanks to the courageous kindness of strangers, Lubetzky began his career hand selling a sun-dried tomato spread made collaboratively by Arabs and Jews in the war-torn Middle East. Despite early setbacks, he never lost his faith in his vision of a “not-only-for-profit” business—one that sold great products and helped to make the world a better place.

My 12 year old got me hooked on Street Food Around the World – Ishai Golan explores the alleyways, boulevards and streets peeking into pots and pans of the most popular, extraordinary and tastiest dishes the local cuisines have to offer. Photo from Street Food Around the World/Ishai Golan
Love this TED talk from Carol Dweck on the power of yet…
